Quality Control

At Tellerex, quality control is not a final step—it’s an integrated discipline embedded in every phase of the asset lifecycle.

Tellerex’s Quality Control (QC) Process is a core pillar of our EcoLogix framework—ensuring every asset we handle meets strict performance, compliance, and aesthetic standards before it enters service. Whether it's a refurbished ATM, a staged TCR, or a newly deployed self-service device, every unit undergoes a multi-point inspection and validation process.

Our QC methodology is rooted in precision, transparency, and continuous improvement—allowing financial institutions to operate with confidence, reduce downtime, and deliver a consistent user experience.

Our Approach to Quality Control

Our process blends detailed inspection protocols, documentation standards, and real-time accountability through our SPOTLight platform. We aim for a 3-sigma threshold of accuracy, meaning our defect rates remain below industry norms and corrective actions are fast, efficient, and well-documented.

Tellerex’s Quality Control Process isn’t just about checking boxes—it’s about delivering assurance, reliability, and continuous improvement across your equipment lifecycle. With comprehensive inspections, visual validation, and real-time reporting, our QC process helps your institution deploy and manage assets with confidence. Quality is not just a step in our process—it’s embedded in our promise.

Refurbishment Quality Control

  • Every refurbished unit undergoes a rigorous eight-phase process, culminating in a detailed QC inspection:

  • Post-test of all modules (dispenser, printer, EPP, card reader, etc.)

  • Visual inspection for bodywork quality, cable management, and branding accuracy

  • Functional tests of power-up behavior, software performance, and diagnostic logs

  • QC teams validate the accuracy of all repairs and replacements, ensuring each component operates to manufacturer and client standards.

Staging & Configuration QC

  • During staging, each asset is tested against a client-specific checklist to confirm proper software configuration, peripheral functionality, network connectivity, and ADA compliance.

  • Units are photographed from all angles, and those images are uploaded into SPOTLight, our cloud-based tracking system.

Installation QC

  • All installation work is inspected onsite by trained technicians, who submit a digital closeout package with:

    • Pre- and post-install photos

    • ADA measurements

    • Connectivity and function checks

    • Notes on any remediation actions taken

  • Each submission is reviewed by a project manager for completeness and accuracy.

Issue Escalation and Resolution

  • Any identified QC issues—whether during refurbishment, staging, or install—are logged as cases in our internal system.

  • Issues are analyzed for root cause and resolved with corrective actions, which may include rework, retraining, or process improvement.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Every asset receives a completed QC checklist and is tied to a digital record in SPOTLight.

  • For large-scale projects, aggregated QC reports can be generated to provide insight into trends, issues, and areas of continuous improvement.
